Q & A
Q. How is this different from home care?
A. For acne that isn’t ready to be extracted, forcing it can actually worsen inflammation and cause pigmentation. At Bens Clinic, we carefully assess your skin condition and perform extractions and regeneration treatments to prevent secondary inflammation.

Q. How do you differentiate between milia (whiteheads) and pustular acne?
A. Milia (whiteheads) are the earliest form of acne, appearing as small, white, bumpy spots. They form due to trapped sebum in the pores and don’t disappear easily. If left untreated, inflammation can develop inside the pore, turning it into pustular acne. Pustular acne occurs when the trapped sebum in the pore becomes inflamed and forms pus.
Recommended Candidates for Treatment
Those seeking skincare to improve acne
Those with excessive sebum requiring extractions
Those concerned about increasing whiteheads
Those needing soothing and regeneration for skin irritated by environmental factors
Those who find it difficult to manage acne and skin regeneration at home
Precautions
Mild redness or discomfort may occur from extractions but will subside shortly.

Be sure to apply sunscreen when going outdoors.

Avoid excessive alcohol, saunas, hot baths, and vigorous exercise for 3–7 days after the procedure.
